About the tutors
Hector Garcia
Hector graduated from the National University of Guatemala in 1996 with a degree in education. He has taught Spanish for fifteen years - first for immersion schools in Guatemala and for the last four years via the internet. He is into soccer (both as a fan and as a player), rmotorcycles, music (favorite singer is Ricardo Arjona), reading classics and mysteries, and pop culture (like the movie Crash and anything on Animal Planet).
Osberto Asturias
Osberto also attended the National University of Guatemala and earned a degree in education. he graduated in 1995, a year earlier than Hector. Like Hector, Osberto worked in one of Guatemala's premier language schools - Poyecto Lingüístico Francisco Marroquín - before specializing in distance learning. In his off time, he loves reading (mysteries), watching films (Million Dollar Baby is a favorite), and playing and watching soccer.
