Hector Garcia

Hector graduated from the National University of Guatemala in 1996 with a degree in education. He has taught Spanish for fifteen years - first for immersion schools in Guatemala and for the last four years via the internet. He is into soccer (both as a fan and as a player), motorcycles, music (favorite singer is Ricardo Arjona), reading classics and mysteries, and pop culture (like the movie Crash and anything on Animal Planet).

  Osberto Asturias

Osberto also attended the National University of Guatemala and earned a degree in education. he graduated in 1995, a year earlier than Hector. Like Hector, Osberto worked in one of Guatemala's premier language schools - Poyecto Lingüístico Francisco Marroquín - before specializing in distance learning. In his off time, he loves reading (mysteries), watching films (Million Dollar Baby is a favorite), and playing and watching soccer.

Paulina Garcia

Paulina Rojo de Garcia has been an instructor of Spanish for more than 20 years.

Paulina with all types of learners. She has worked with doctors, nurses, professors, lawyers, economists, and psychologists, as well as high schools and university students. Along with specialized vocabulary for learners from different professions, Paulina weaves in information about the culture and history of Guatemala.

Paulina lives in Antigua, Guatemala with her husband, Héctor García and their two children.
